Life in the Bilotta Household

I usually save Sundays for chores and getting caught up on things around the house. I've been procrastinating on pulling weeds out front. I finally got motivated yesterday to clean up the front yard (hopefully for the last time before winter)! After I pulled weeds and trimmed bushes I was still motivated so I decided to pressure wash the front of the house. Jeremy usually does all things manly outside so he had to give me a quick lesson before I had at it. Once I got going I had a blast!! I managed to give myself a shower and a workout. I also found it to be a stress reliever. The water that comes out of the gun is so powerful. I felt like Spanky in the fire hose scene from Little Rascals (if you don't know what I'm referencing watch the clip below 1:50 in). I guess the moral or this story is that sometimes the things we classify as chores or put off can actually turn out to be fun, relaxing, etc.

Well I finally did it! After many years of following and reading all the exciting and interesting posts on my brother-in-law's blog I decided to create one for my husband and I.....and yes Andy I kind of stole you blogspot name. Sorry! But at least I'm giving credit where credit is due! Take it as a compliment :) My husband, Jeremy and I have been married for four years (officially together for seven). Throughout the years we have had so many stories to share with our friends and family I thought it would be nice to start writing some down so that one day many years from now when we can't remember these great moments we can look back and read about them. My husband is my best friend. He makes me laugh, supports me, drives me crazy at times, helps me out and is there for me whenever I need him. We have a lot of great times together, most of them involving laughter! Our lives pretty much follow that of a typical young married couple. We currently do not have any children. The grandparents are anxious for more babies in this family! We are the last couple standing without kids. We want kids, we just haven't decided to expand our family yet as we are enjoying each other, traveling, and living somewhat care free. We do have two fur babies - Raja (our cat) and Mia (our spoiled Shih Tzu)! We live in beautiful Morgantown, WV.....home of the Mountaineers! My husband is originally from Fairmont, WV (about 30 mins. south of Morgantown) and I grew up in Charleston, WV. I feel that we are currently in a really great place in our lives. We have a great family that we get to be around a lot, genuine friends, jobs that we enjoy and so on. We love hanging out with our nieces and nephews and getting to be the cool aunt and uncle! I'm excited to use this blog as an outlet for many things. I've never been much of a writer but who knows what the future will hold. If I can share stories that will make people laugh, help with a decision, inspire or just make you think that's enough satisfaction for me. Hopefully my husband will get into posting as well as I think it could end up being something that he really enjoys to! Here are a few pictures introducing you to our little family!
